The Last House - Tangalle

The Last House offers fine, beautifully designed rooms near a tranquil beach. Hot nights without air-conditioning can be uncomfortable.

Stunningly beautiful place with super staff. Individual and exceptionally comfortable rooms with a big balcony, great cross ventilation, for example. A wide range of options, freshly made food. Awesome and marvellous location, in running the business subsequent to the tragic events.

The hotel was peaceful with awesome and brilliant location near to peacocks in the garden, Tangalle and Last House.

The design of the house captures the eye with its elegant architecture and use of color. The spacious upstairs suite offers a breezy retreat with doors opening to fresh air.

The lack of air conditioning can be a challenge on particularly warm nights, especially considering some rooms have inadequate ventilation. Notable issues include tired-looking blackout blinds in the Double Room, malfunctioning internet service, and a power cut that knocked out essential amenities like the ceiling fan and air con. The dining options could definitely use an upgrade, as some meals fell flat, with poorly executed dishes like calamari and hard vegetables, leaving much to be desired.

The hotel is fine, with beautiful gardens and a fantastic beach. But we had a slight issue with the lack of air conditioning on warm nights. A lovely experience!

The tranquil hotel had beautiful gardens alive with peacocks and the serene beach was just steps away. The staff were attentive, always ensuring my needs were met with a warm smile.

No air conditioning.

The architecture is wonderful, and the beach is super close. We even went fishing and snorkeling in the nearby bays. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plus, it's a peaceful place with cozy spots to unwind and enjoy some quiet time.

The wifi in our room was really unreliable , frustrating since we wanted to share our amazing experiences online.

The beach was almost private with nice sunset views. We enjoyed fresh seafood every evening, and the decor was fine.

The house itself is amazing, with a unique and charming design! Breakfast was good, with a variety of fresh options tailored to our tastes.

The food was good, with an excellent range of seafood options, made each meal nice. I did find it a bit inconvenient for exploring on foot, but that's part of what makes this getaway so tranquil.

The beautiful double room we stayed in was a standout feature, and the staff provided excellent service from the beginning to the end.

The room I had was really nice and tidy, plus it had a large balcony and excellent airflow. 🌬️ being right on the coast was a huge bonus.
